Yedam is from Seoul, South Korea. He participated in the 2nd season of K-pop Star, and won first runner-up. He then joined YG Entertainment as a trainee. He also appeared on Stray Kids survival show (JYP vs YG battle) before participating in YG Treasure Box. He was the 2nd member of TREASURE. Bang Yedam trained for almost 8 years.
